Exciting times ahead for clubs as the various State Governments announce Road Maps to Easing Restrictions and the funding support packages available for clubs and community sports.

“There is no doubt there are some eager beavers just jumping at the chance to get back to playing their favourite sport but on the flipside there will be others who may struggle with the new challenges that have been outlined. Either way, it is more important than ever to establish a strong sense of belonging and unity amongst your team.”

For many clubs, an easy way to establish this, is by introducing a “Sign On” or “Start Back” Pack for their members as part of the re-introduction to their activities. Ensuring that signing on is very appealing to the kids and providing them with something special to make them feel a part of their sporting community is absolutely essential.

These sort of sign on packs are often incorporated into the sign on fee, so the club is not out of pocket, but with the new government initiatives available, we are seeing clubs using grants to help out their families by reducing uniform and equipment costs.
